Founders Story
Britt founded Monarch Care in response to a growing gap in access to specialised nursing care, particularly for ostomates living in residential aged care. After years working in hospitals as a Clinical Nurse Consultant and Stomal Therapist, she saw firsthand how many individuals were discharged without the right support to manage complex needs like wounds, stomas, or enteral feeds.
With formal qualifications in stomal therapy, wound care, and clinical education, Britt brings both hands-on expertise and a deep understanding of what quality community care should look like. Since accepting her first patient in 2024, she has focused on delivering tailored, high-quality support that empowers clients and builds confidence in care teams. Under her leadership, Monarch Care has quickly become known for compassionate service, clinical excellence, and a strong commitment to closing the gap between hospital and home.
